Almaty will welcome international guests on January 30-31 for two significant events: the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting and the Digital Almaty international forum on digitalization, Orda reports.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has confirmed his attendance, with plans to first visit Astana for talks with President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev on energy, industry, and agriculture matters.
The participation of representatives from other EAEU member states - Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Armenia - has not yet been announced.
Following the heads of government meeting, the Digital Almaty forum will bring together international experts to discuss digitalization. Kazakhstan's Ministry of Digital Development is organizing the event.
