Almaty Residents Gather at Shevchenko Monument to Mark War's Third Year
Almaty residents held a solidarity rally to support Ukraine on the day marking the third year since the start of Russia's war against Ukraine, Orda reports.
The gathering place traditionally became the monument to the Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko, located at the intersection of Shevchenko and Dostyk streets. People brought flowers, candles, and lamps.
