Almaty Lawyer and Gazpromneft Adviser Convicted of Bribery

The lawyer and his two accomplices were convicted in Almaty, Orda.kz reports.
They were found guilty of fraud and incitement to bribery. The Medeu District Court handed down the verdict.
Three people were involved in the corruption case: Renat Nainbayev, an Almaty City Bar Association member, and a certain Tuyashev and Sakenova.
According to Antikor, they incited clients who wanted to legalize a nursery building for housing to give bribes (30 million tenge).
By the court's decision, Nainbayev received a year of restricted freedom, Sakenova was given seven years of imprisonment, and Tuyashev was given four.
They were also banned from holding positions in government agencies and the quasi-public sector. The sentence has not yet entered into legal force.
As Orda.kz found out, Renat Nainbayev is the founder of the "NS Law Firm" with over 30 years of legal experience.
Since 2010, he has been a permanent legal adviser to the first head of the representative office of Gazpromneft - Lubricants LLC.
