Artists from the Almaty circus have set a new world record at the Italian television show Lo Show Dei Record, Orda.kz reports, citing the Almaty Regional Communications Service.
The record was achieved by Batyr Zhanuzak and Marlen Maratov, members of the Almaty circus acrobatic group Serbat. They set the record during a taping in Milan.
Acrobats performed a difficult trick in Italy in the category 'The fastest time to ascend and descend two ladders with a person standing in a handstand on their head.' Their result was 36.66 seconds, the RCS reported.
Lo Show Dei Record has aired since 2006 and collaborates with Guinness World Records, whose representatives are always present during filming.
This is not the first international show for the Serbat acrobatic group. Its members have also performed on other major stages, including America’s Got Talent, Britain’s Got Talent, and China’s Got Talent.
