Armenian Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan said he does not believe the peace negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan have reached a deadlock, Orda reports, citing News Armenia.
Perhaps it was a bit unexpected for the Azerbaijani side that we signed the proposal and are moving forward in this logic, Simonyan said.
Commenting on Azerbaijani media reports claiming border fire, Simonyan suggested the alleged incidents may warrant a separate bilateral investigation.
Work is being done in this direction to create some kind of mechanism to prevent similar incidents in the future, he noted.
