Six officials and a deputy akim were fined in the Turksib district of Almaty for unlawful business inspections, Orda.kz reports.
According to the Prosecutor General's Office, while monitoring socially significant goods, officials inquired about documents for goods, violating the procedure for conducting inspections. They had no legal grounds to do so.
For violations of the inspection procedure, six officials of the district akims’ offices were brought to administrative responsibility under Article 175 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan (with a fine of 500 MCI (1,966,000 tenge) for 25 cases),
the prosecutor's office commented.
The alleged initiator of the inspection, the deputy akim of Almaty, has also faced liability.
Orda.kz's source reported that this concerns Alisher Abdykadyrov, who oversees issues of economics, entrepreneurship, investment, and state assets, as well as tourism, ecology, and the environment in the Akimat.
Abdykadyrov has been working in the Almaty Akimat since 2022. Before that, he held various positions in several ministries and served as vice-minister of national economy for a year.
The monetary penalties have already been paid through a reduced procedure.
