At a briefing at the Central Communications Service, Aqmola Region Akim Marat Akhmetzhanov commented on the situation with the heat supply in Stepnogorsk, Orda.kz reports.
Last year, a main pipeline sustained breakage, causing interruptions in heat supply.
The Akim says this year, the owner allocated 7.4 billion tenge for repairs.
All boilers and units have been revamped. Repair work is 100% complete, and the readiness of the heat source was checked by special government commissions. The heat source is completely ready for operation, Akhmetzhanov emphasized.
The Akim noted that the wear and tear of heating mains is still significant.
Today, the level of wear is 72%, although previously it reached 88%. We continue to work on reducing it, he said.
