Of the 87 Kazakhstani candidates applying for judicial status, only five successfully passed the computer test, Orda.kz reports.
According to the Supreme Judicial Council, the qualification exam was held from September 22 to 24. Only candidates demonstrating both professional competence and an impeccable reputation could move forward. 94% were eliminated at the very first stage.
All successful candidates were admitted to the next stages—they will write essays, solve case studies, and undergo psychological testing, the Supreme Judicial Council explained.
In 2025, the number of tests required of judicial candidates has been increased, and the requirements for them have been raised.
Applicants must now prove their readiness to assume responsibility and possess an impeccable reputation.
