1.4 billion tenge has been allocated from the special state fund holding recovered assets for constructing a school in the Ulytau region, reports Orda.kz.
The Cabinet's press service announced that the new school would be built in Karachi.
It will be constructed in the "Temirhzol" micro-district, as according to the Akimat, this is where many requests for a new educational institution have been coming from residents and students.
The city has 1,700 children studying, of whom about 200 live in the 'Temirhzol' microdistrict. They study in three schools. Once the school is built, we want to open a nursery as well, said Head of Education Department Tlesh Ashtayev.
