Transport, Tourism, and Energy: Partnership between Kazakhstan and UAE

In a significant diplomatic meeting, Kazakhstan's President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev and UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan convened at Qasr Al Shatie Palace to discuss strengthening bilateral ties.
The UAE has emerged as a major investor in Kazakhstan, with investment volumes showing remarkable growth over the past year.
During their meeting, Toqayev emphasized the strategic importance of UAE-Kazakhstan relations:
The UAE is our key partner in the Arab world. We aim to strengthen cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats. Your efforts to develop a strategic partnership with Kazakhstan are highly appreciated. I look forward to your visit to our country, which, I am sure, will be an important step in strengthening Kazakh-UAE relations.
Toqayev outlined ambitious goals for the partnership, including plans to boost bilateral trade to one billion dollars and expand collaboration in strategic sectors such as transport, energy, finance, and tourism.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed gratitude for Kazakhstan's participation in the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week summit and shared his optimism about elevating bilateral relations to new heights in 2025.
He also commended Kazakhstan's role in promoting global security and sustainable development.
