There Are Attempts to Destabilize Society through Nazarbayeva – MP Bapi
Majilis deputy Yermurat Bapi said that "false trends," designed to destabilize the country's situation, are being deliberately spread on the Internet, Orda.kz reports.
They include claims about a possible government resignation. In his opinion, videos about Dariga Nazarbayeva, gaining popularity on social networks, are also part of this plan.
Yermurat Bapi recalled the President's statements that the demonstration of an idealized life on social networks and aggressive advertising creates a false impression that achieving everything is easy.
The deputy says the idea of "successful success" has begun to interfere with the policy of forming public opinion.
He cited a video praising the first President's eldest daughter, Dariga Nazarbayeva, as an example.
Of course, if a person has unique merits, this is worthy of respect. But we must not forget that Dariga Nazarbayeva held the second most important political position in the country not long ago. Therefore, this video should be viewed as political manipulation aimed at popularizing the previous regime. It is especially alarming that such 'nostalgic' tendencies are acquiring a political character and are aimed primarily at Kazakhstan's society, the deputy stated.
The parliamentarian says manipulation is being used to divide New Kazakhstan, create tension, cause vindictiveness, and return to the old order.
For example, religious extremists involved in the tragic events of January are beginning to actively introduce their ideas into public consciousness. These processes are supported by those who have previously achieved 'success.' Some of them have already returned to the country. Now, they are spreading an ideology directed against national traditions and culture and are trying to introduce revanchist policies into society, continued Bapi.
Bapi also stressed that the primary goal of these forces is to provoke protest sentiments in a society that is “already enduring difficult times.”
Using social networks and popular Internet resources with a multi-million audience, “they seek to sow instability.”
I have insider information confirming these actions. Revanchist forces are spreading false trends on the Internet, such as 'the government will resign,' 'early elections are being prepared,' 'deputies have lost their conscience.' All this is part of the technique of manipulating public consciousness, aimed at undermining the unity of the New Kazakhstan, the Majilis deputy believes.
He requested the National Security Committee to establish the sources and disclose information about groups whose “activities threaten the stability of the state.”
We must see this as a step dictated by the desire to preserve the unity of the nation and strengthen the foundations of the state. Freedom of speech, which threatens national security and the unity of society, should not harm the future of Kazakhstan.
The deputy concluded that it is essential to expose the religious and political activities of those attempting to return to the “old days” and stir up conflicts.
