Storms and Scorching Heat Forecast Across Kazakhstan From July 15

Most of Kazakhstan will see a sharp shift in weather starting July 15, with widespread thunderstorms and extreme heat, Orda.kz reports.
According to Kazhydromet, from July 15 to 17, thunderstorms are expected across much of the country, with some regions seeing hail and strong, gusty winds.
The agency warned that July 16 and 17 will be particularly hazardous in the western and northern regions, where heavy downpours and squalls are likely.
In the northern and northwestern areas, forecasters predict fog during nighttime and early morning hours. Meanwhile, the south will remain under the influence of a hot and dry air mass, with no precipitation expected.
Daytime temperatures in the southern and southwestern regions are forecast to reach extreme levels — up to +39°C to +44°C on July 16 and 17 in Mangystau, Atyrau, and surrounding areas.
In the central regions, temperatures may also reach +40°C on July 17. In the south and southeast, the air will heat up to +40…+44°C, in the north — up to +30…+35°C, and in the east — up to +35…+38°C,
the forecast states.
