Ruslan Zhaqsylyqov Appointed First Deputy Secretary of Kazakhstan’s Security Council

Former Defense Minister Ruslan Zhaqsylyqov has been appointed First Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Kazakhstan, according to a presidential decree published by Aqorda, reports Orda.kz.
This new role comes shortly after his recent dismissal.
Zhaqsylyqov was replaced as Defense Minister by Dauren Kosanov earlier this month.
