A protest outside Kakha Kaladze’s campaign headquarters passed without clashes, with demonstrators later moving toward parliament, Orda.kz reports, citing Ekho Kavkaza.

In the evening, one of Kaladze’s campaign banners was doused with yogurt, while another banner of the ruling Georgian Dream party was defaced with the slogan “Russian Dream.”

Participants chanted “rusebo” (“Russians”) and sang “Ole, Ola” with insults directed at Georgian Dream members — a song that irritates the ruling party.

Party activists stayed inside the headquarters, though some appeared in balaclavas. Media reported a larger turnout compared to previous days.

Meanwhile, the Interior Ministry opened three cases over clashes that occurred the other day:

  • Article 126 (group violence, 4–6 years in prison)
  • Article 162 (violence or threats during campaigning, up to three years)
  • Article 187 (damage to property, up to five years or longer if in a group)

No arrests have yet been made in connection with either protest.
