Oskemen: New Akim Appointed Amid Environmental Issues

The city maslikhat deputies agreed on the candidacy of Almat Akyshov for Akim with the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan, Orda.kz reports.
The new Akim must deal with environmental issues and improve street lighting.

To increase the tourist attractiveness and harmonious appearance of the city, prepare proposals for a single design code for business facilities. Attract investors for breakthrough city projects. The Oskemen Akimat reports that Akim’s new experience will help him handle the challenging tasks of developing the city.
