Nord Stream Sabotage Suspect: Ukrainian Citizen Arrested in Italy

Italian police detained Ukrainian national Sergey K., who is suspected by German prosecutors of helping coordinate the September 2022 explosions on the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines, Orda.kz reports.
He faces charges of sabotage, destruction of infrastructure, and creating explosive devices. Investigators believe he and others used a rented boat with forged documents to plant explosives near Denmark’s Bornholm island.
After extradition, he will face questioning in Germany.
