Negotiations Held to Produce Turkish Drones in Kazakhstan

Negotiations on production facilities for tactical unmanned aerial systems (UAVs) and loitering munitions (kamikaze drones) were held during the IV International Exhibition of Defense and Aerospace Industry SAHA EXPO-2024 in Istanbul, Orda.kz reports.
Defense Minister Ruslan Zhaqsylyqov held talks with Baykar Defense CEO Haluk Bayraktar.
The parties came to an agreement on developing a roadmap on the issue of localizing the production of tactical unmanned aerial systems and operational-level loitering munitions on the territory of our country, Kazakhstan's Ministry of Defense reported.
Ruslan Zhaqsylyqov spoke with the Minister of National Defense of Türkiye, Yaşar Güler, and the Chair of the Defense Industry Agency, Haluk Görgün.
A meeting was also held with the Minister of State for Defence Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Mubarak Fadhel Al Mazrouei, the department said.
