Komil Allamjonov Appointed Independent Advisor to Saida Mirziyoyeva

Komil Allamjonov has been appointed independent advisor to Saida Mirziyoyeva, the newly named head of Uzbekistan’s Presidential Administration, Orda.kz reports, citing Gazeta.uz.
He will provide public advisory support in areas such as innovation-driven economic development, investment attraction, freedom of speech, and support for independent media.
Allamjonov, born in 1984, previously held a number of senior roles in the Administration.
He also coordinated a program introducing Finnish education methods into Uzbek schools and briefly returned as head of the Administration’s information policy department in 2023, before stepping down to return to the private sector.
In October 2024, he survived an assassination attempt when his vehicle was shot at near Tashkent. In February 2025, a court sentenced 10 individuals to lengthy prison terms for organizing the attack.
