Khabar's Former Deputy Chair Becomes Central Election Commission Member

At a Senate meeting, deputies supported Lyazzat Suindiq's candidacy for the post of member of the Central Election Commission, Orda.kz reports.
The Committee on Constitutional Legislation, the Judicial System, and Law Enforcement Agencies preliminarily discussed Lyazzat Suindiq's candidacy. She replaced Anastasia Shchegortsova, whose term of office ended.
Lyazzat Suyndiq began her career as a chief expert of the Ministry of Information, then headed the Information Committee. She was deputy chair of the board of JSC Khabar. In recent years, she has been actively working in the field of communications. I am confident that the qualifications and experience of Lyazzat Suyndiq will give new impetus to the work of the CEC, said Senate Speaker Maulen Ashimbaev.
Lyazzat Suindiq graduated from the Eurasian National University, named after L. Gumilyov, Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz. She is a Bolashak program participant and studied at the University of Sheffield in the UK.
She has extensive experience in communications and has long held senior management positions at the Ministry of Information and the Khabar Agency.
