Kcell Receives Certification for Information Security

Kcell has obtained international certification under ISO/IEC 27001:2022, confirming its compliance with one of the world’s key information security standards, Orda.kz reports.
The ISO/IEC 27001 standard goes beyond the choice of hardware or software, defining how information security management systems should be structured. Core areas include risk management, access control, incident response, business continuity, and the continuous improvement of security procedures.
The company noted that its work on cybersecurity is ongoing.
Security assurance is an ongoing process that requires constant adaptation to new threats and technological changes. This certification confirms Kcell JSC's maturity in cybersecurity and demonstrates the company's commitment to protecting confidential data and implementing effective security measures,
the company emphasized.
The certificate was issued by the international certification body Baltum Bureau and confirms that the company meets international standards and is included in the global IRQAO registry, which brings together certified organizations worldwide.
