Dikiy Arman: Trial Coming to An End
Dikiy Arman's trial is nearing completion, and the verdict may be handed down as early as early January, Orda reports.
His lawyer, Oleg Chernov, said this.
According to him, they are requesting more lengthy sentences.
The trial of Arman Dzhumageldiev has been completed. The state prosecutor is now speaking in the debate. They are asking for longer sentences for the defendants. I think we will finish it by the end of December, and the announcement will be made in early January 2025, Chernov said.
The case was sent to court a little over a year ago. Kairat Kudaibergen, a former Almaty Maslikhat deputy, is also in the dock.
Dzhumageldiev is accused of organizing mass riots during Qantar, participating in them, stealing firearms, and illegally deprivation of liberty.
According to investigators, Kudaibergen actively called to join Dikiy Arman.
Meanwhile, our sources later revealed the prosecution had requested 20 years for Dikiy Arman, 8 years for Kairat Kudaibergen, and 15.5 years for KNB Colonel Ruslan Iskakov.
