Kazakhstan's Deputy Foreign Minister Alibek Kuantyrov confirmed that the country's diplomats are in contact with Ukrainian authorities on this matter, Orda.kz reports.
Ukrainian drones have previously targeted Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) facilities.
We are in touch with the Ukrainian side, negotiations are underway, Kuantyrov said on the sidelines of parliament.
The consortium said Ukraine's attacks had a negative impact on CPC's financial performance and affected its shareholders, including companies from Kazakhstan and the United States.
February 17 – A Ukrainian drone attacked the Kropotkinskaya oil pumping station in Krasnodar Krai. The facility was damaged and temporarily taken out of service.
March 19 – Another attack on CPC infrastructure: debris from a downed UAV damaged a pipeline between the tanks, sparking a fire that covered 1,700 square meters.
March 24 – A new attack on Kropotkinskaya. The UAV was shot down seven kilometers from the facility.
It is worth noting that the U.S.-Russia talks ended on March 25.
