Asset Return: New Tranche to Be Used for Construction of Nursery in Aqtobe
The government will allocate almost eight billion tenge to construct a nursery for children with special needs in Aqtobe. The budget received these finances under the law on the return of illegally acquired assets, Orda.kz reports, citing the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.
It is expected that 300 children will learn there.

Today, over 2,500 children from three to six years old require a specialized educational approach in the Aqtobe region. Only half attend specialized preschool institutions. Currently, there are four such nurseries in the region.
The new project will create the necessary infrastructure and expand the scope of development and education of children with special needs, the authorities say.
Other social facilities are already being built with the money confiscated from Kazakhstani oligarchs: a sports complex in Zerenda, Aqmola region, a music school in Temirlan, Turkestan region, a sports complex for gifted children in Arqalyq, a rehabilitation center for children with musculoskeletal conditions in Astana, and a training center for people with special needs in Almaty.
