Several successful healthcare pilot projects are being rolled out across Kazakhstan in 2025, according to the Cabinet of Ministers.

Initially tested in select regions, the One-Day Clinic program is now available throughout the country.

This initiative provides pregnant women with access to modern prenatal diagnostics, enabling same-day screening for potential congenital pathologies and chromosomal abnormalities.

To date, over 35 thousand women have utilized this opportunity, the department commented.

Kazakhstan has also launched its first program focusing on early diagnosis and treatment of fetal conditions through minimally invasive procedures.

The program has already achieved a milestone with 20 successful intrauterine operations completed since its inception.

Digital Healthcare Documents

In a major push toward digitalization, several key medical documents are now being made available in electronic format:

  • Health certificates
  • Sick leave certificates
  • Various medical certificates (including 075/u, 026/u, 073/u and others)
  • Child health passports
  • Medical clearances for weapons permits and driver's licenses

These documents will be integrated with the eGov mobile application, allowing citizens to share their medical documentation directly through their phones.

The digital transformation also extends to vaccination records, with consent or refusal forms for child immunizations moving to an electronic format.
