Ukrainian Drones Strike Russian Energy Facilities

Ukrainian forces carried out major drone strikes on Russian oil and gas facilities in the Volgograd and Astrakhan regions early Saturday morning, according to Orda.
The attacks targeted a Lukoil refinery in Volgograd and a Gazprom gas processing plant in Astrakhan, ASTRA reports.
Both regions share borders with Kazakhstan — Volgograd and Astrakhan with the West Kazakhstan region and Astrakhan with the Atyrau region.
The drone strikes came two days after Russia conducted a widespread missile attack on Ukraine, during which one missile struck a residential building in Poltava, killing 14 people, including two children, and leaving 20 others injured.
