Uzbekistan Airways will operate flights twice a week, Orda.kz reports.
Flights will operate on Mondays and Fridays on Airbus A320 aircraft.
As specified by the Civil Aviation Committee, work on expanding international routes and increasing flight frequency continues on an ongoing basis.
The opening of the new route was preceded by negotiations between the aviation authorities of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, which took place back in August 2025. The parties agreed to expand the legal framework for international flights.
The ministry noted that the launch of the route should contribute to the development of business relations, trade and tourism between the two countries.
