Rare Argali Spotted in Altyn-Emel National Park

A rare argali — a species listed in Kazakhstan’s Red Book — was captured on video in its natural habitat in Altyn-Emel National Park, Orda.kz reports.
The footage shows the argali moving freely through mountainous terrain:
These materials confirm that biodiversity conservation work in the national park is being carried out effectively,
the Committee on Forestry and Wildlife stated.
The argali is one of Kazakhstan’s rarest and most valuable species. To protect its population, Altyn-Emel National Park conducts continuous monitoring, scientific observation, and anti-poaching efforts.
