The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan has provided an update on the investigation into the homicide of Aigul Sailybayeva in Germany, Orda.kz reports.
According to ministry spokesperson Aibek Smadiyarov, the main suspect is the victim’s mother-in-law, Natalia Dontsova.
By decision of the Darmstadt city court, Natalia Dontsova has been found to be a suspect of the homicide. German police have been issued a warrant for her arrest throughout Europe. Dontsova's current whereabouts are unknown. She is wanted internationally,
Smadiyarov stated.
He also clarified that "this was a criminal case of a non-political nature."
