Kazakhstan’s Anti-Corruption Agency Confirms Probe Into FCMS Official

The Anti-Corruption Agency of Kazakhstan has confirmed that a criminal case has been initiated against a deputy chair of the Federal Compulsory Medical Service (FCMS), though the official's name has not been disclosed, reports Orda.kz.
According to Deputy Chair of the Anti-Corruption Service Darkhan Kurakbayev, the investigation pertains to the misappropriation of budgetary funds allocated for medical treatments in the East Kazakhstan region.
He noted that the implicated official had been suspended from duties to facilitate the investigation but refrained from providing further details due to the ongoing nature of the inquiry.
The FCMS is led by a chair and supported by four deputy chairpersons:

- Galymzhan Abilov
