Deputy Head of Jambyl Justice Department Detained on Bribery Suspicion

Officers from the Jambyl Regional Department of National Security (DKNB) have detained the deputy head of the regional justice department, Bauyrzhan Shamgunov, Orda.kz reports.
Reportedly, Shamgunov is suspected of taking bribes from private judicial enforcement officers whose work was found to be in violation.
In return, he allegedly promised not to revoke their licenses.
Earlier, the National Security Committee (KNB) in the Ulytau region detained a deputy police chief accused of accepting a five-million-tenge bribe.
