About 80 Children Got Lost In Atyrau During Nauryz Celebrations

During the Nauryz festivities on Isatai and Makhambet Square in Atyrau, dozens of children were separated from their families in the crowd, Orda.kz reports.
According to police, 78 children were left unattended during the celebrations. All of them were eventually found and returned to their relatives.
In most cases, the search took no more than an hour, although the search for about three teenagers lasted around an hour.police said.
One case drew particular attention: a seven-year-old boy, left alone in the crowd, decided not to wait for help and set off on his own to find his mother at her workplace. Police were able to track him down quickly using CCTV cameras and return him safely to his parents.
