Toqayev Appoints New Director to Reorganized Anti-Corruption Body

Akorda has announced the appointment of a new director to the restructured agency that replaced the recently dissolved Anti-Corruption Service, Orda.kz reports.

As previously reported, President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev officially abolished the Anti-Corruption Service on June 30 and merged it into the National Security Committee, Orda.kz reports.

In its new form, the former Antikor agency has become part of the committee’s structure.

By presidential decree, Nurzhan Kusainov has been appointed director of the new service, Aqorda reports.
