Almex Holding Group, a key asset of Timur and Dinara Kulibayev, will not distribute dividends for 2024, Orda.kz reports, citing the Financial Statements Depository.
A document published on the depository’s website on June 16 states that the holders of 22.73 million voting shares have decided not to allocate profits from the previous year and will not issue dividend payments.
Through Almex, the Kulibayevs control a 69.7% stake in Halyk Bank, one of their main and most profitable assets. Almex also did not pay dividends for 2023.
To estimate the scale of potential payouts, the last known dividend from Almex was in March 2024, when nearly 89 billion tenge was distributed.
Previously, it was reported that another company linked to Timur Kulibayev, JSC Caspian Oil, also chose not to issue dividends for the second consecutive year.
