KazTransOil Raises Oil Transportation Rates Again

KazTransOil, the company responsible for transporting Kazakhstan's oil to the domestic market and for export, has once again raised its pipeline transportation tariff, Orda.kz reports.
According to a document published on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange website, the company has revised the cost of its operator services under the unified routing system — a service used to transport oil through domestic pipelines for export purposes.
As of April 3, the new rate is set at 10 tenge per ton of oil, excluding VAT.
The company explained the increase by citing changes made to its charter and the overall expansion of its operations.
Back in November, KazTransOil reported a decline in financial performance. Consolidated net profit for the first three quarters of 2024 had dropped by approximately five percent.
