Poland's Foreign Affairs Minister Radoslaw Sikorski warned that European nations may face mounting pressure to negotiate with Russia over the Ukraine conflict.
But what kind of deal would a sensible Europe accept? Certainly not an ordinary deal that would allow Moscow to regain its strength. Europe is much stronger than Russian leaders believe. Russia is much weaker than many Europeans believe, Sikorski wrote in a January 6 post on X.

Sikorski expressed concern about potential compromise scenarios that could benefit Moscow's strategic position, noting that the Ukrainian people deserve peace fostered by fair conditions, not surrender.
