KTZ: First Million Tons of New Crop Grain Transported by Rail in September

Kazakh Temir Joly's press service noted that 867 thousand tons of this volume of grain have been exported.
457 thousand tons of grain have been sent to Central Asian countries, 187 thousand tons to China, and 140 thousand tons to Iran via the Aqtau port. In October, the transportation of 1.3 million tons of grain cargo was agreed upon according to plan.
Since the beginning of the year, 6.6 million tons of grain, including 5 million tons for export, have been transported in nine months. KTZ representatives met with grain market participants in the country's grain-growing regions. They discussed the transportation of new crop grain and resolved several conceptual interaction issues.
More than one hundred farmers, traders, and elevator owners attended the meetings.
