Kazakhstan: US to Lease Land for New Consulate

At today’s meeting, Majilis deputies considered a bill to ratify the agreement between Kazakhstan and the United States, Orda.kz reports.  

The bill, introduced by Aigul Kuspan, proposes leasing land for constructing the American consulate in Almaty.

The two countries signed the agreement in New York last September.

After reviewing the bill, the Majilis committee will prepare its conclusion.
