First Heartland Jusan Bank JSC has officially completed its rebranding and will now operate under the name Alatau City Bank, according to information published on June 23 by the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), Orda.kz reports.
With the re-registration now finalized, Jusan Bank as a brand has ceased to exist in Kazakhstan. Going forward, Alatau City Bank will carry out its operations in its place.
An extraordinary shareholders’ meeting is scheduled for July 21, during which participants will address key financial and governance matters. The agenda includes selecting an auditor for the 2025–2027 period, revising board governance documents, and updating expense policies for senior management.
The rebranding was first announced on May 28, with the bank stating that Alatau City Bank would be “built on the solid foundation laid by Jusan Bank.” Shortly after, Kazakhstan’s Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market approved the acquisition of Jusan Bank by Vyacheslav Kim, the country’s wealthiest businessman.
