Beijing Celebrates Dombra Day with Kazakh Music Performance

A festive concert dedicated to Kazakhstan’s Dombra Day was held in China, Orda.kz reports.
The event featured performances by students and teachers of the Beijing National Orchestra of Traditional Instruments.
One of the highlights of the program was the performance of the kuy "Kelinshek" by young musicians and their instructors.
Founded in 2015, the Beijing National Orchestra is the only institution in the Chinese capital offering professional training on the dombra. According to Kazakhstan’s Embassy in China, the orchestra includes more than 500 musicians and regularly performs at major venues both in China and abroad.
