Georgia: Salome Zourabichvili to Speak in Europe

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili will speak before the European Parliament on Wednesday, December 18.

Amid mass protests, Zourabichvili said that she would not leave her post.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, December 14, presidential elections were held. As a result, the sixth president became the candidate of the ruling party, "Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia," and a former member of parliament, Mikheil Kavelashvili.
The opposition has refused to recognize the results.
