Village Gets New Sports Complex Built with Recovered Funds

A 1.1 billion tenge sports facility has broken ground in Jalagash village, Kegen district, funded by assets recovered through Kazakhstan's law on illegally acquired property, Orda reports, citing the government press service.
The complex, spanning 1.5 hectares, will feature dedicated spaces for boxing and wrestling and a general fitness facility. It's set to serve Jalagash's 4,800 residents.
This project is part of a larger initiative that has already channeled 50.6 billion tenge of recovered funds into social infrastructure across Kazakhstan, including schools, hospitals, and kindergartens.
