A Balkhash resident, Madina Dosymbekova, has accused an employee of Kazakhmys of assaulting her eight-year-old son, Orda.kzreports.
My eight-year-old son was brutally beaten. This was not just an act of violence — it was real torture: his fingers were broken, he was hit on the head, his body was burned. All of this was done by an adult man, an employee of Kazakhmys,
she said in a statement posted on social media.
The boy’s mother claims the case is being covered up, alleging the suspect has connections in the police, hospitals, and other state bodies. She is demanding public attention and justice.

Police in the Qaraganda Region confirmed that a criminal case has been opened for cruelty to a child. An investigation is underway, and forensic examinations have been ordered.
Kazakhmys said it is concerned about the situation and will fully cooperate with the investigation.
The company is categorically against any form of violence and considers it absolutely unacceptable. If the employee’s guilt is confirmed, he will be punished according to the law,
the company’s press service stated.
