Former Almaty Akim Dosayev Appointed Deputy Head of Presidential Administration

Former Almaty Akim Yerbolat Dosayev has been appointed Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan, Orda.kz reports.
According to Aqorda, President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev signed the decree formalizing the appointment.
Dosayev was dismissed as Almaty Akim on May 24, following a meeting of the city’s maslikhat, and had not held any government post since.
Throughout his career, Dosayev has led multiple state bodies: the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies and Protection of Competition (2001–2003), Ministry of Finance (2003–2004), Ministry of Health (2004–2006), Ministry of Economy (2012–2016), the national holding company Baiterek (2016–2017), and the National Bank (2019–2022).
